The biggest challenge in growth.
Companies and businesses which seek a high level of growth have a lot of challenges with budget, technology, resources, commercial offering, and strategy.
Yet nothing from the above is a guarantee of growth, nor the biggest challenge while seeking a high growth level.
Why?
Because many companies have them and failed.
Nokia: had a strong market presence, cutting-edge technology, and a wide range of devices.
Kodak: invented the digital camera technology.
MySpace: One of the earliest and most popular social networking platforms.
BlackBerry: was once a leading name in the smartphone market, known for its secure messaging system and physical keyboards.
All of those companies and more failed despite having logical growth levers.
So what is the biggest lever of growth?
A growth mindset that can’t be conquered
having teams that have individuals that have growth undefeated mindset, and as someone who has been working for 11 years in growth, here is what I observed of high growth teams:
The teams which behave as if they are competitive sports teams
They face every day as a new game that should be won
They challenge other team members to improve
They don’t get intimidated by their targets
They try to be a positive force of change
They produce work they are proud of
They don’t take no for an answer
They question the status quo
They look for data
Follow intuition
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift”
~Albert Einstein~
